HP ENVY x360 Convertible 15m-bp0xx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am having trouble connecting my Razer Core V2 to this laptop. I purchased it off my brother and he had purchased it not even 1 year ago. The HP ENVY x360 says "thunderbolt functionality might be limited." I do not understand if this cannot support it, why? On this device the thunderbolt symbol is found as well as a usb symbol where the usb-c is. The laptop won't take power from other connectors either; i.e. my cell phone power adapter.

Hi,

Your PC does not have a thunderbolt port. The symbol you see is similar to thunderbolt symbol, however I believe it is missing the arrow at the bottom of symbol which indicates Thunderbolt. (page 13of service manual)

Thunderbolt symbolThunderbolt symbols

So the port is actually a regular USB-C port

Hope it helps,
