HP Laptop PC 15t-dw300 CTO

I have a HP Laptop PC 15t-dw300 and I'd like to connect it to my Infocus projector.  The current computer cable is not compatible with my laptop.  Is there some other connector I can use to get these to work together?

This adapter:

HDMI to VGA, Benfei Gold-Plated HDMI to VGA Adapter (Male to Female) Compatible for Computer, Deskto...

I assume the cable connection is VGA male on the computer end. So you plug the HDMI male into the computer and the projector cable into this. There are similar adapters that convert HDMI to DVI

What kind of Infocus projector? Your laptop has an HDMI port and that could be converted to VGA with the right adapter. What port does the projector need for input?

Hi there my Infocus is an IN37 model.  It takes a VGA port or DVI port.  Thank you
