Hey! I have been Crashing a lot since past month. tried updating bios but that wasnt an issue. Tried reinstalling windows & didnt work. i Use OMEN monitoring and a software called HWinfo so whenever i play a game the cpu usage and temperature rises to 97 degree celcius and as soon as i close the game like super quickly the temperature comes back to normal at 40 degree celcius. what do I even call this? is this thermal throttling? i am so confused. people tried to tell me to repaste it but i dont know what excatly is the issue. please somebody help me out asap : (

That is likely to be thermal throttling.
Cleaning the intake and exhaust ports of dust and perhaps cleaning the fins of the cooling fan inside the laptop.
Repasting the processor should help. I recommend having the processor repasting done at a laptop shop unless you are already familiar with doing it.
I use a laptop stand that allows air to circulate under and around the laptop instead of putting it directly on a table or desk.
