Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Hi everyone,
I’d like to know if my HP Spectre - 13-af002la is compatible with Intel Optane. I'm considering installing it to improve performance, but I’m not sure if this model supports it.
I'd really appreciate it if someone could confirm or guide me on how to check compatibility.

Hi:

 

Your notebook does not support the Intel endpoint NVMe SSDs with the Optane memory cache.

 

If it did one of those drives would have been listed as an option in chapter 1 of the service manual.

A good quality NVMe SSD would have better read/write specs than one of those Intel NVMe drives with the Optane memory.

 

Something like a Crucial P3 or Samsung 980.
