My keyboard died on my HP Pavilion 17 e009 for the second time. I ordered a new one to install just like I did before, except when I went to install - the little black clip broke into two pieces. I put the new keyboard in, put it all back together, plugged it up, replaced the battery - and it's doesn't see the keyboard. After trying this twice - with no luck - I reinstalled the old one. Now both keyboards are not being recognized. So I went a bought a new HP Laptop with Windows 10 - S mode.
What I am wanting to know - is there some way to tether the two computers so I can run all the particulars i.e.: signing in. getting in to my desktop, etc. on the Pavilion from the keyboard of the Laptop?

The answer to your second question is yes -- there are ways to utilize one PC from another -- but this requires remote access from the second PC to the first.
This is a VERY complicated thing to setup and perform and requires both special hardware and software.
We are not equipped to provide either or to provide detail directions on how to do this.
Sorry, but you would have to search online for videos on how to do this as a LOT of work is involved.
I am a volunteer and I do not work for, nor represent, HP
