Hi all. I need to replace the keyboard, which after a year and three months since I purchased the notebook brand new from HP, had two keys unusable, let alone the covers of 7 others almost completely erased.  The issue is that i don´t want to buy the same keyboard that came factory built-in, but a different one (otherwise I will experience the same problems again).

The original keyboard is backlit, something I really don´t care to have.

Could anybody help me to find another HP keyboard that is compatible with this notebook but with stronger (and permanent letters) than can last for more than a year?

Many thanks in advance.

@Massini

Please use parts on the following list

You have to replace the whole top cover

Regards.

I appreciate your quick reply. just to make it clearer, what I have to replace are:

keyboard

Top cover

Any suggestions of where to purchase those parts? As I recall, HP does not carry them, do they?
