Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an "HP Notebook - 17-x108cy" and it will not stay running even when it is plugged in.

It will stay up for a few minutes at a time and then shuts off. I have hard re-set it, reloaded the O.S. and still can't get the battery to take a charge?

Have you tried running a diagnostic test first on the battery through HP Support Assistant and then on the rest of the hardware in the UEFI diagnostic environment? Tap esc as you power up then F2 for diagnostics. If the battery is bad it can cause the system to behave oddly including shutdowns until you replace the battery. We can help with how to replace it and where to get replacement but that is to be done after we gather some data with the tests.
