Hi,
Is there models in Elitebook 840 G3 dosen't has Keyboard Backlight Function ?
Because My laptop which is Elitebook 840 G3 core I5 6300 with 256 M.2 SSD and 8 GB RAM DDR4 has no keyboard backlight function ? and I'm confused because the manual of this series doesn't say it's limited for specific models !

P. 4 of the Manual:
Keyboard: Dura keys, backlit, spill resistant with drain Spill resistant with drain
So the way to read that is there are 2 possible keyboards:
Keyboard: (1) Dura keys, backlit, spill resistant with drain; or (2) Spill resistant with drain
Do you have the keyboard backlight hotkey on the keyboard?
Also see page 50...
Backlit keyboard is optional
Keyboard, backlit for HP EliteBook 848 and HP EliteBook 840 821177-xx1
The -xx1 depends on language. You could replace a non-backlit with a backlit but keyboard replacement on that model is not the easiest but is fully explaned there at p. 50.
