I recently broke the spacebar on my laptop keyboard. I was wondering where I can buy new keys.

Hi Jackman9061,

Yes it would - it's just that it's the American version and won't have the bilingual key support which really wouldn't change anything.

Hi Jackman9061,

Unfortunately, it will be quite difficult to simply buy individual keys. Instead, you're going to have to opt for buying the entire top cover/keyboard.

I found this for your computer:Capture.PNG

You can use the 7 numbers + 3 end digits in the HP Parts Store here: https://parts.hp.com/hpparts/ChangeCountry.aspx?mscssid=8D9BABC4E1204EC582214370B1F81C59

You might be able to find it from online resellers. If you really want to look into buying the individual key, you could contact HP and see what they say. (Keep in mind that there may be a fee if you are out of warranty.)

Contact HP Worldwide here: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html

Check warranty status here: https://support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty

Hope this helps,

Do you have any websites you can recommend for getting the top cover/keyboard. My keyboard is 926894-DB1

Hi Jackman9061,

I regret to inform you that I'm unable to find any online resellers for part 926894-DB1.

Your only option is to contact HP since the HP Parts Store does not have it in stock.

Contact HP Worldwide here.

Check warranty status here.

I already contacted HP, they were of no help, they wanted me to mail my laptop to them, but I need it for schoolwork. I asked if I could buy the parts off of them, but got no answer. They wanted me to spend $268 on it, and I'm not doing that. I already voided my warranty, I have a guy that should be able to help me.
