I want to replace my laptop keyboard with a backlight keyboard. So I ordered the new keyboard and have my service manual, I take all the screws out just for it to say use the keyboard release tool to loosen the keyboard??? WHAT?? Anyone have any idea where I can get this keyboard release tool? I found a pic of it online but no part number for it anywhere. Help please!
Keyboard release tool??

She said that is a picture she found of the Keyboard Release Tool mentioned in the Manual. I checked the manual and it does show using such a tool. I haven't found any place it is available.
I would assume that any similar shaped object could be used-maybe a long wooden skewer, etc.

You don't need one. place the laptop on a flat surface, apply pressure to the keyboard, "pulling it down" to create a gap at the top then pry it off.
If you must push it off from the back a spunger "black stick" has done it in the past
