Hello, have a tried several tests but no luck. Full system reset, removed and installed drivers. Bios enable/disable hot keys.
Problems started to occur after a Video Card driver update from Hp. I tried to go back in history but no luck
I did the HP test, and the keyboard test failed.
FAILURE ID M4PPTT-8KH9AQ-GXGGQ1-G07S03
PRODUCT ID V9S72AV
does this mean I need to replace the keyboard?
Are there any other ideas for me to try?
thank you

HP Parts Store has it for $117 plus shipping:
Used from eBay is $45:
The Manual I linked shows how to do it. I say maybe 6 on a 10 scale for difficulty. We can likely find you a video if you wish.
Post back with any more questions and please accept as solution if its the info you needed.

Yes that Code indicates a Keyboard Error which will require a new keyboard.
Are you under warranty? Here is the Service Manual:
See p. 27. First thing to figure out is the language you need. The keyboard is only sold as part of the whole top cover. So we need to find you the right part.
Post back with the requested information, please.

Looks like I need part 807526-001
Is this a common problem/manufacture defect? Very surprised this happened on a new laptop that might have been used 10 times. What can I do to prevent happening again?
What is a trusted source to buy this part reasonably? Is it an easy install? My skill level is average
thank you
