I'm using Hp 15r074TU. Recently I'm suffering from keyboard and mouse pad problem. Also tried Synaptic, but do nothing. But when I connect external it's fine. I'm also update all driver from Hp support. The problem is not solved. What can I do now?

Thank you.

Welcome to HP support community.

If external works fine and yet the internal doesn't its most likely a hardware malfunction but I suggest we run a quick extensive hardware test to identify the cause of the failure.

1. Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.

2. Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.

3. On the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) main menu, click System Tests.

4. Click Extensive Test.

5. Click Run once, or Loop until error. While the test is running, the time remaining and test result for each component are shown on the screen.

Let me know how it goes.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.
