The keyboard backlight is not turning on when PC starts after Win 10 install. I press F5 twice to light keys on each start.
Is there a way (setting) to automatically turn on keyboard backlight at startup??

Greetings @jack_i,
Thanks for the post.
I understand that the backlight is working on your computer but it does not power On automatically on startup, is that right?
Not to worry, I will be glad to assist you.
Have you tried any troubleshooting steps on your own?
Recommend you make sure all the Windows updates are installed.
Run HP Support Assistant to make sure BIOS and Chipset are updated. Click here to know more about HPSA.
If the issue persists after the driver updates, boot the computer to BIOS by tapping F10 repeatedly on startup and restore the BIOS/System utility settings to defaults. Save and Exit BIOS.
If the issue persists, uninstall the keyboard driver from Device manager, restart your computer and check.
Let me know how it goes.

Chimney_83,
Thanks for your guidance...
Everything you mentioned was up to date (Windows 10 & BIOS).
I reinstalled HPSA (lost it from Windows 10 clean installation) and that showed no updates required.
I uninstalled the keyboard driver from Device manager (as suggested) and restarted the computer.
The uninstallion the keyboard driver solved my problem.
After restarting the computer, the keyboard backlight comes on as it should.. on startup. (I restarted the computer 3 times to check)
Thanks for yor help & link to HPSA file.
