Is there any way to make keyboard backlight to turn on/off permanently? I tried to find settings in BIOS, but there aren't any. I was able to find information that in some cases this is just not possible, but i was wondering if there is some kind off app or anything really that can bypass this situation. I have HP Pavilion gaming 15 - dk1027nm. Thanks in advance.

It is f4 on my Omen machine (different model/product), should be the same on your machine. You can use it to turn on/off backlit keyboard anytime.
Regards.

Well, there has been an misunderstanding. I cant turn it on/off by pressing f5, but it lights only 20-30 seconds and than it goes off until i press any button. I was asking if there was a way to turn it on permanently so it doesn't go off.
