When I got my laptop, it came with a backlit keyboard… As in, when the laptop was turned on the keys were lit up
quite some time ago, I noticed that the keys were no longer lighting up
i am 100% certain this feature used to work as I remember saying to my friend who was with me at the time that I thought it was a cool feature.
Strangely, my F5 key is blank and there is no other key with the backlight icon
I have no idea how to resolve this, I have tried a few different things. Just now I entered the BIOS settings and changed the activation key, but this made no difference.
i can’t find anything to do with it on my settings, or in the control panel
I’m not the most techy person, I don’t really want to take the Laptop apart in anyway, as I have no idea how to do this and it seems unnecessary for such a small technical issue
Obviously it’s not a big deal, the laptop still fully functional, but for some reason it just really gets on my nerves and I want to fix it… I feel like I’m going crazy because I know it used to work!
can anyone suggest anything, I’d be really grateful to find a solution!
thank you
