hp envy x360 13-ag0000
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

Could you please help me with a question.

Do I have a keyboard backlit timer setting on my hp envy x360 13-ag0000. I searched the internet and the hp forums but nothing relevant. Now I can just set it on or off from the keyboard button.

I don't have that advanced option in Bios where you can set the timer. Someone said that actually the backlit button have 3 functions, on, off, and timed, I have tried but on on off works for me.

Some else says that HP laptops have some proximity sensors and the backlit will go off only if there is nobody in front of the laptop.

I have a different laptop and the keyboard backlit goes off if I don't touch it and goes on by touching a button.

I don't understand how you can put a keyboard backlit with no timer function on a such a small device that needs to conserve battery.

Thank you,

Thank you for the answer but this is not helping as the HP assistant gived me the same article when I searched for a solution.

I explained that things mentioned in that article can't be applied on my laptop
