Hello,
I'm having some issues with my HP Spectre x360. I've tested the keyboard in the HP BIOS screen, all buttons work flawlessly. I have sticky keys and filter keys disabled in the bios and in windows settings. The keyboard has been updated through the device manager and the computer has had all updates done after doing a full restore through windows (not a bootable media installation). I have also disabled Intel Integrated Sensor Solution.
I also hooked up a keyboard and the Control combos work just fine. However, this really seems like a software issue because it's still registering everything just fine in the keyboard test in the BIOS. Just when you combine control with another key it starts to have issues.
Has anyone else had this issue or have an idea about what should be done next to determine what is going on?

I understand that you are facing issues with the keyboard.
Do not worry. I will try to fix the issue.
Please perform the keyboard test and let us know the result.
1. Power off the PC and make sure that it is completely powered off.
2. Press the power button and the moment you press the power button immediately start tapping F2 key, you should see the system diagnostics screen.
3. Look for the component test, under that all the hardware will be listed, please choose Keyboard and initiate the quick test.
Note: If it fails it will generate a 24 digits alphanumeric failure id, please capture that.
Have you tried to update the BIOS?

Hello,
We gave the bios update a shot, it ran successfully and then we tested the control+c and control+v and it is still not working. We also ran a test on the keyboard but since it's not a 10-key it doesn't have the ability to hit all keys so it did toss an error.
Anything else we can try? Can we restore from bootable media, would that be worth a shot?

System Restore is a software program available in all versions of Windows 10 and Windows 8. System Restore automatically creates restore points, a memory of the system files and settings on the computer at a particular point in time. You can also create a restore point yourself. Then, when you use System Restore to restore your computer to a point in time before an issue began, System Restore returns your computer to the files and settings from the restore point. Your personal files and documents are not affected.
