Hello,
When i purchased my HP Pavilion All-in-One - 24-r070d, it came with a wireless keyboard. After roughly 3 months of use, a column of keys were not working (8,I,K,,). Are there any ways to fix this manually? If not, where do i go to get this fixed? would it be covered by warranty, if it's not covered by warranty roughly how much would it cost? it's causing alot of inconvenience as i'm typing using the on-screen keyboard. Please advise asap. Thank you.
Regards,
Felicia

Hi Feliciaky,
You can get warranty support if it hasn't been longer than a year:
Contact HP Worldwide here: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html
Check warranty status here: https://support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty
I'm not a keyboard expert, however, the symptoms you are pointing to are related to something getting stuck inside, or some damage regarding the ribbon cable or circuity.
If you want to, you can try getting some compressed air, and blow in and around the broken keys. Furthermore, you can try opening up the keyboard and seeing if there are obstructions or damage to the circuity.
Hope this helps,

Hi kem79,
thanks for your prompt reply. my product is still under warranty but however, the page you directed only applies to the pavillion all in one computer rather than the keyboard itself. I'm unable to search for the model code: 5524A - TPCC002K under hp products, and hence unable to get support from there. Should i just contact Hp through other means?
Thanks.

Hi Feliciaky,
This could be a simple issue of something getting stuck underneath the keys, but you can always opt for warranty support.
Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure you can't search for the keyboard solely and you would need to contact support regarding your computer and then talk to the support agent regarding your keyboard.
However, I'm not sure if they'll do anything besides providing you steps to clean your keyboard etc. Keyboard malfunctions are usually related to user use.
