HP Notebook - 14-cm0506sa
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

If I am typing a sentence or playing a game using my in-built keyboard, the keys will delay and stick for a long amount of time before stopping. Also keep in mind that sticky keys is off on my laptop. Does anyone have a solution on how to fix this?

Welcome to HP Support Community

I understand that you are getting issues with the keyboard, I am glad to assist you.

Please update or reinstall the Keyboard driver from Device Manager

- Select the Start  button, type Device Manager, and select it from the list of results.
- Look for Keyboard and expand the List
- Look for Keyboard driver then right-click it, and select Update Driver.
- Select Search automatically for updated driver software.
- If these steps don't work, try reinstalling the driver: Open Device Manager, right-click the bluetooth driver and select Uninstall. Restart your PC and Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.

Also update the BIOS from this Link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers

Also, ensure Filter Keys are disabled.

Go to Control Panel > Ease Of Access > Make the Keyboard Easier to use > Uncheck the box Turn On Key.

Keep me posted.

If this helps, please mark the public post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.
