Product: Pavillion Gaming - 15-ec0021na
Unfortunately, I had an accident with some orange juice earlier this week and ended up spilling some over the keyboard. I did my best to wipe off whatever I could immediately after the spill, but the end result is that some of the keys have now become quite sticky - they register my inputs as normal for the most part, but it's very uncomfortable to use and they don't have the same 'bounce' that they should. The space bar got the worst of it, I think.
We have some cotton swabs and rubbing alcohol in the house, and on any other keyboard I would have no qualms removing keys to clean underneath and fix the sticky situation. But I wanted to ask here and check that the keys for the keyboard on this particular laptop model are actually safely removable, and that I'm not likely to permanently damage anything by attempting to clean up the spill.
Most other advice I could find suggested that for most models the keys are safely removable, but it's difficult to find information for specifics so I thought it best to be safe before I go opening anything up.
