Hello,
I have an HP Spectre Foldable, whose keyboard is supposed to charge magnetically in laptopt mode. Except that it doesn't. For the rest it works, and it is properly connected via Bluetooth.
Any similar experience and solution?
Thank you in advance

Watch the video to learn how to identify your laptop.
Provide the HP Product number(SKU) in your next post in your thread.

You own a HP Spectre Foldable 17-cs0013dx (845B7UA) laptop.
The question you posed has been asked before and not ever resolved to my knowledge.
Does the not charging exist in both charging methods? If it does, it is likely that the keyboard battery has reached the end of its service life.
You may be able to see the status of the battery by connecting a USB keyboard and going the Bluetooth & Devices to view the battery life. If the keyboard is completely non functional, that will not work at all.

Hi Erico, thank you for your reply. I couldn't find a similar question in the forum.
The keyboard does charge when attached to the cable, and once charged it works normally. It's the magnetic charging method that doesn't work. I purchased the laptop from a reviewer who used it only once, therefore it has hardly been used.
Can it be a driver issue? I have tried to update those but it seems that everything is up to date.

The issue is most likely to be a hardware problem, since the keyboard charges using a cable connection.
