Hey,
I am having trouble with my keyboard.
Only a few keys on the keyboard work. This issue started yesterday. I tried restarting my laptop but that didn't do anything. Please help.

Thank you for responding,
This is the Riddle_Decipher, again!
If you fixed it via HP, they would offer a 90day repair warranty, so you can get it fixed free of charge,
That said, I recommend you check with the place you got it repaired from as this seems to be an issue with the power adapter/charger port, please check with an alternate adapter and another wall outlet to confirm,
If the issue persists, you can either contact the place of repair or for further assistance regarding the same refer to my private message:

Welcome to our humble abode, the family and tech-friendly house of HP Forums!
I'll be your host for the day, they call me the Riddle_Decipher.
Did you have any accidents with the keyboard lately? dropping it or dropping something on it? 😉
While you respond to that, here's what you need to know & do:
I recommend you attempt the below steps to identify the cause of the failure and resolve it accordingly:
- Try changing the keyboard layout/language and check if it works: Click here for steps.
- Clean the keyboard with compressed air (blow compressed air in the gaps between keys). This removes some lint and dust.
- Shut down the laptop, remove the battery and cable for a moment, press and hold the start button for 60 seconds
- Replace the battery, restart the notebook,
- if the issue persists, refer to my private message for further assistance:
Please check your Private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, using the blue envelope:

Alternatively, if you've confirmed that this is a hardware issue,
you can find the part number on the HP Parts Surfer & replace the parts on the HP Parts Store.
Let me know how that pans out
I will have a colleague follow-up on this to ensure it's taken care off,
as I need to know if the issue has been resolved, to get proper sleep at night.
feel free to give me a virtual high-five by clicking the 'Thumbs Up' icon,
followed by clicking on 'Accepted as Solution' as it would help the community gain more knowledge, and have a great day Ahead!

Sorry for the really late response. Unfortunately after I plugged in the HDMI cable again, my whole laptop just instantly stopped working. I tried quite a few things but not even the LED for the power was lit. I gave it in to a shop to fix. They said I should receive it today. I will let you know what the final result is. Thanks for the support.

So, yesterday I received my Laptop back working. But today, I was updating the graphics driver and the whole laptop just shutdown again and it's not turning on. Although, this time when I click the power button the LED next to the charging port blinks 3 time. I don't know what to do anymore. It's very expensive to get it fixed again, so I really don't know what I'm going to do. Please help. There's no signal of life except the LED that flashes 3 times when I press the power button.
Hopefully someone can help me.
Please reply if you know how to fix this issue.
Thanks!
