As I am typing this I am using a wireless keyboard. So the problem is that recently my keyboard had problems with the "Q, w,e, r, u, i,o, and p" keys not working. Earlier those keys would sometimes respond for awhile but the stop altogether. Currently, now they won't respond no matter how hard I try. My T, Y, tab, [, ], \ work but not the others.

Immediately after powering on start tapping the Esc key. This will open a menu where F2 System Diagnostics is an option. Tap F2 key . Open Component Tests and look for keyboard test.
