Hello.
I have a Hp pavilion gaming 15, my keyboard is faulty it had one month when the letter p, and the 0 above it and the signs in the right of the p key, were working if i was pressing a lot of times.
Now they are dead completly and for already 2 months no more buttons died. They had some shock when i hitted with my right hand in the left part of the keyboard but can that destroy a keyboard in this way... i doubt.
Do you think it can be the motherboard, cuz other things are working well without any problem, and i want to buy another keyboard for my latptop to change it. The thing is that i don t find anything only this
I think it is compatible, the US frame won t work for me. What do you think.

I'll definitely perform the hardware tests before replacement
Manual: page 19, 38

You need this part:
Top cover/keyboard (includes touchpad),
Silver models with a backlight : 832805-031 (UK),

Search the HP part number through online sellers in Google or HP part store

Perform extensive system test from UEFI/BIOS by tapping f2 key as soon as you power on notebook. Let me know the results
If any hardware failure is there, tests will fail especially keyboard since that is what is giving you problems now
You've to provide exact product number/full model name of your notebook to enable us to help you find the right keyboard.
Are you from France? French keyboard is what you're looking for?

The laptop is Hp pAVILION gaming 15 ak000nf something like this.
I didn t any test but the thing is that everything works perfect except that keys. Few days ago i had a total error from windows ``machine check exception`` and i had to reinstall my windows cuz it would not boot anymore, i dont know what was that but the keyboard problem is from december not from last week, 4 months was working ok only without that 4 or 5 deffective keys.
The laptop has the UK format with short left shift and it is AZERTY, so i dont care about what is writed on the buttons, i can use AZERTY as a QWERTY.
I just want to know if the cables can go in.

Thanks for the help, but if i order that one from up even if it is red i don t mind too much, i can put it inside without changing the COVER, only the keyboard. And i am wondering if I buy US Frame and keyboard type it will work on this, cuz for US i can find a lot.
