Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After replacing a broken screen, keyboard and touchpad were not working.  They both work in BIOS, the backlight comes on before Winidows loads but then shuts off at login screen.  Uninstalling the Synaptics software makes the touchpad start working, but Windows insists on updating and the touchpad stops working again.  I've done the following:

Update all drivers, deleted the devices in Device Manager and let the system reinstall

Updated the BIOS

Updated chipset drivers

Ran HP software troubleshooting

Unistalled battery and held power button down to reset CMOS

Reinstalled ribbon cables to motherboard (keyboard/mouse work in BIOS so I do not believe hardware is an issue)

Reset Windows and performed all updates

Devince manager shows no problems with hardware, external USB keyboard/mouse work fine.  Not sure where else to go from here.

Thank you for the response, however the phone support said I should try the exact things I've already tried and didn't seem interested in actually helping.  What governs how the rotation of the screen turns the keyboard off and on for tablet mode, could that be a path worth pursuing?

Did you figure this out? Same thing happened to me and I can't figure it out.

I have not figured this out yet, supposedly I have been "elevated" in the customer service ranks.  I can't figure out why HP won't just answer the questions I've asked of them, specifically what governs the keyboard and touchpad turning off for tablet mode?  And does it relate to the position of the screen?  Paid over $1000 for this laptop and it's curently a brick.

Disabling "Intel Integrated Sensor Solution" in Device Manager under 'System Devices' currently has the keyboard and touchpad working.

Disabling intel integrated sensor solution worked for me as well. Does your touchscreen work? Mine does not, and there is no touchscreen driver to be found...

At least the keyboard and touchpad are working again. Thanks for your help.

My touch screen still works but my keyboard doesn't after replacing my screen .
