I have this Elitebook 2760p and around 2 months ago, its keys started auto-pressing (Ctrl, Tab, F3, F4, F7, F8, Tab, V, M, Page Up) all these keys together and they are kept pressing when I check in the keyboard tester.
What I tried:
So I disconnected its keyboard and started using external keyboard but the issue did not resolve. I tried with both keyboards disconnected but issue still persists. It happens with/without battery connected and with/without charger connected.
And
It even happens on POST screen.
When I take Remote Desktop Connection from the other laptop, it works fine during the whole session while I see buttons still pressing on the problematic laptop (it doesn't affect the RDP session).
Any hardware or software changes?
No, it was working fine and the next day, it started all of this. No changes of any kind were made.
Kindly help.
