Hi,

I have a problem with my keyboard that I can't seem to correct. I have two keys (R+E) that keep popping out of my keyboard, no matter what I try.

It's not the keys themselves, but their carriage that keeps dislodging upon hitting the keys. So when I hit the E or R on my keyboard, they will either get stuck on one side or pop out on one side. You can then clearly see the loose spring clips under the keys.

Is it possible that the metal wire hooks that catch the spring clips need some adjusting, and if so can I do this myself? I've had the laptop for about a year and the problem with the R started like literally after 1 day of use.

I've followed the key replacement instructions but to no avail.

Thanks

I just more or less fixed the E by slightly adjusting the wire hooks in there. I unfortunately broke one of the little hooks under the R (they easily break off under pressure so if anyone has the same problem, only use your fingers to slightly bend it back into place). It will have to do with 3 attachment points for now, unless there's a cheap quick fix to that...

Thanks
