Like many people, a couple of keys, in my case, Y and H, are intermittently not working. I am typing this with an on screen board pulled up, but that is not a long term solution.
I have cleaned the physical board, restarted, hard rebooted, rebooted in safe mode, run the suggested diagnostics, uninstalled the keyboard before restarting, ran virus scans, checked the drivers, and considered sacrificing a goat to appease the computer gods.
The keys work correctly at absolute random. They might work fine for two minutes, then be out for the next ten.
I have an external keyboard, it connects and works fine, but that isn't an option when I'm mobile for work.
Is there an option left to try other than back it up and factory reboot? From some of the other posts, it seems like even that didn't work.
