Hi all.

Attached you can see a photo of my HP laptop´s keyboard. After a year and a few months, it looked as it looks today (in the meantime I had to purchase an external keyboard in order to continue working. How come that my previous HP laptop (bought in 2009) lasted 11 years and the keyboard kept working perfectly and immaculate?

Still, the external keyboard is not ideal so I intend to get the factory (lousy) keyboard replaced by a new one (of course I intend NOT TO BUY A SIMILAR keyboard but another one that fits in my laptop but of better quality, I don´t mind if it is not backlit). Can anybody suggest where to purchase a new keyboard and where can I get it installed? (Miami, Fl area).

The other issue is battery-related. Exactly one year ago I had to replace the factory battery because it became swollen. I bought a similar one (see the photo attached of the replacement I bought), installed it myself, and shortly afterwards an irritating alert started to show up in my HP Support Assistant: "Battery needs calibration". Off to calibrate it. I found some HP produced video tutorials (at least three) with different procedures. I managed to calibrate the battery, but the calibration lasts only a month or so and then....... all the calibration process again. My question isHP ENVY keyboard.jpgHP Envy battery.jpg: Instead of three procedures, can anybody advise a manner of getting this **bleep** battery calibrated for good?

As you can observe, if HP´s customer service or tutorials were any good, I would not be making a case in this forum.

Many thanks in advance for your suggestions.
