Hi, I have a pavillion 14, been using it for four years, it is been working well, until 3 months ago, the message of ''LOW-POWER POWER SOURCE DETECTED" , kept appearing.

Last week, the battery never charged, but laptop worked while in the charger, once i unplug the charger it goes off.

I replaced the battery with original one ''HT03XL'', after i discharge it and charge it to 100, battery stayed almost 4 hrs which is good , but when i plug the ac adapter i receive the same message what to do?

Hello.

Please be more specific about your laptop model. HP has sold several different Pavilion 14 models for several years - with very different configurations. Either the P/N number or exact model number such as "14-DV0000" (or something like it).

The reason for the message is self-evident - either you are using a wrong power supply or your power supply has developed a fault and does not provide enough power for the laptop. If you can, please try with another power supply.

Please check the power supply specifications and compare them to your laptop power requirements. The voltage should be the same - presumably 19.5 V if using barrel connector, 20 V if using USB-C charger. The amps or wattage should be the same or higher than what the laptop requires.
