Lapptop battery swelling

I have a 3-4 Year old HP Envy laptop. I think that I am experincing battery  swelling as the back case is coming undone from the unit. I started a "case" with HP,  I thought even though I am no longer covered under warranty that I would be advised on what my options for repairs are. Recieved two emails back.   First one says Thank you for contacting HP ..... second says case closed with no other explanation. I dont want something for free but I do need to know how to get repairs, dont think I should have to pay to find out what to do. Any suggestions how to contact HP without having to pay for support. Might have to re review this product.

Please tell me the full product name and product number (p/n) of your notebook. You will find this information on the back of your notebook printed in small letters.

According to your Service Manual here- http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06001791.pdf   it calls for HP part L09281-855. Since the notebook is 3-4 years old, you'll have to use 3rd party sellers to get a new battery.

The Service guide will show procedures needed to replace the battery.
