Product: 17-by0xxx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a 17-by0xxx that I have had for two years. The right side hinge is broken. The trim on the right corner above the hinge, is popping out and needs
to be popped back into place constantly. My research on this forum and others tells me this problem is rampant. is there anything HP is doing like a recall;
do they even acknowledge this is a known problem that spans other models with the same hinge and built within the last few years;

and if so what's been done about it?
