Elitebook 8570w
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi, I've had this Elitebook 8570w for about 3 months now, and have taken almost perfect care of it (and the battery), but the battery is acting up.

This problem just started today. The battery charge shown isn't correct. It says it's, say, 70%, but shuts down because the battery is too low.

When I plug it in and turn in back on, it displays the correct percentage, but as soon as I unplug it the percentage starts showing incorrectly again.

I've tried reinstalling the driver, but it hasn't fixed the problem. Right it says it's at 79% but I know it should only be at about 20-40%.

Any help?

Why can't I see the solution to the problem.  Why should I register to see a solution.  My HP Pavilion x360 battery does not show correct charge.  It just shuts down without a warning.

The links don't open.
