HP Pavilion Notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Recently I've Been facing issues with my laptop battery, Whenever I connect it to an AC Adapter and try to charge it , it shows just "plugged in" instead of "plugged in , charging" like it did earlier. Also No matter how long i charge my laptop it just stops charging beyond 13%, hence to use it even for a small period of time i always have to connect it to the charging port and use it , otherwise it quickly shuts down due to no charge . Please help me with this problem

According to your description, it is recommended that you refer to the following information: The system prompts that the power is turned on and not charging is usually related to the operation of the battery hardware. If the notebook can be turned on by using the battery alone, you can try the operation method of static electricity, the static electricity may accumulate Affect the hardware operation. Operation steps for discharging static electricity: After you turn off the computer, remove both the built-in battery and external power cord of the notebook to keep the notebook powered off; at this time, press and hold the power switch button and wait for eight or nine seconds Let go, and then use the external power cord to supply power, turn it on again, turn it off again, reconnect the battery and external power supply, turn it on and observe whether it can be charged normally. If it still does not improve, you will run out of power in the battery and then turn it off. Plug in the external power supply and charge it for a long time. The time should not be less than 6-7 hours. Try this method again. If there is still no improvement, you need to check the battery's operating status through the HP battery detection software.
