I changed the battery to my laptop with an universal battery type and it was not charging.

Starting my  laptop by pressing F2 constantly, i used the Hp checking tools. Checking the battery, i was getting

the message:

After so many checks drivers  reinstall...etc....the solution was:

1. Shutdown the Laptop by holding the power button for some secs

2. Plugged the AC adapter (the charging-AC indicatorlight on the right side became red)

3. I left it like this the whole night and the in the morning the light was turned in to white

4. I started the laptop by pressing F2 constantly, in order to use the Hp checking tools. I checked the "Battery"

     and i got the "passed" (green) message with the indication "battery needs calibration....."

 

5. I pressed  the " Calibrate Battery" option from bellow and after about 2-3 hours everyting wsa DONE!!!!
