Product: HP Pavilion G7-2200 sd

I need to replace my laptop bottom cover of my HP Pavilion G7-2200sd due to some damage on the inside (some pins are broken so the laptop top cover can not be closed very well). The label on the laptop bottom cover shows the number 685072-001. Now I can get a laptop bottom cover from someone else, but the label of that laptop bottom cover shows number: 646498-001 (HP Pavilion G7-1245sd). Now I was wondering if this part is compatible with each other or that I really need a laptop bottom case with numer: 685072-001 ?

As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding this issue. 

 

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
