Hi, the charging cable for my laptop has broken and I have found another HP charger and am wondering if it is compatible with my laptop.

The laptop model is:

HP pavilion model 14-ce2500sa

The broken chargers model number is:

L25296-002

The spare chargers model number is:

HP 740015-003

@SamLG

Part 740015-003 is:   https://partsurfer.hp.com/partsurfer?searchtext=740015-003

and  L25296-002 is:   https://partsurfer.hp.com/partsurfer?searchtext=L25296-002

Even they both are 45W but too risky because 740015-003 is not close to notebooks as shown above.

Regards.

They are both smart pin and can be used.  The L25296-002  has 2 wire power adapter and the 740015-003 has the 3 wire adapter suitable for Europe.  I personally hate the 3 pin one.
