I am experiencing an issue with my laptop's charging behavior when using a 65W Hypergan Oraimo charger, which supports devices with PD (Power Delivery) or Type-C protocols.

The charger works correctly when the laptop is switched off, but it stops charging as soon as the laptop is turned on. Strangely, a 33W Redmi charger charges the laptop without any issues, whether it’s on or off.

Details of my laptop:
Model: HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 14-dy0135nia

Could you help identify the cause of this problem and provide a fix? Any guidance or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Not all chargers are the same. Sounds like the 65W charger is faulty.

There’s nothing wrong with the charger. The 65W HyperGan Oraimo charger works perfectly with my other devices, including power banks, headsets, phones, and even other laptops.
