Laptop dies when disconnected from HP AC charger.
HP Support Assistant Version: 9.20.22.0
W10 64 Bit
HP Spectre x360 - 13-4183nr (ENERGY STAR)
Bios F.54 (updated latest version)
HP Battery diagnostic: No Battery, 100% charged (see attached screen shot for details).
Battery was working fine and was recently replaced. Earlier version of HP Assistant reported battery needs calibration.
Tried different HP AC charger. Same problem.
Uninstalled MS ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery.
Disconnected battery and charger and pushed ON/OFF button 1 minute.
Reassembled and reconnected AC charger. Charging light indicated. Started computer and CMOS 502 error (presumably from shutdown) again. Rebooted.
HP Battery diagnostic: No Battery, 100% charged.
Note: Bios updated several times and CMOS cleared several times but CMOS 502 error is reported with every reboot.
