I understand that the laptop crashes all the time, and you want to find the reason.
Please follow the document below to troubleshoot:
HP PCs - Computer Locks Up or Freezes (Windows 7)
The document above includes hardware failure tests which you can run to determine the parts you need to or not need to replace.
