My laptop has been getting hot but the fan won't turn on. I have the HP Command Center installed and it says the fan is on at medium strength and the computer is not hot at all I can attach a screen shot below. Does anyone have any tips or fixes or advice for this? Thanks.

Make sure you have venilation room around the laptop and especially underneath it so air can flow. I'm confused as first you say the fan is not coming on then you say Command Center shows the fan on medium? Maybe you feel hot spots on the laptop? Most laptops do have hot spots if on for extended periods.
