In this device please help me with the available Hard Disk Slots and their type.

Does it support Dual storage configuration?

actually I want to install a new NVME M.2  Solid State Drive, along with the existing 1TB hdd, use them at the same time,

what is the recommended ssd size for Dual storage configuration?

Please Help me with that.

Hi:

 

According to chapter 1, bottom of page 4 of the service manual, your notebook's M.2 slot supports SATA M.2 SSD's.

 

Maintenance and Service Guide HP Pavilion Notebook PC

 

You should be able to install a SATA M.2 SSD in a storage capacity that meets your needs and budget.

Thanks for the information, in there its states for Dual storage configuration 128GB ssd along with 1TB HDD.

can I use more than 128GB SSD?

You're very welcome. 

 

The drive capacities listed in the service manual are just what HP offered in the model series, not the maximum capacity supported. 

 

If you want to install a larger capacity M.2 SSD, that should be fine.
