Got a new laptop few days ago, while charging the laptop in Shut down mode and lid is closed, the back of the laptop is very much heated and charging led turns to white when temperature is very high, then turns to red when cool down. Why its turning hot when even laptop is off?

 

When the laptop is on and lid is opened, its doesnt heat up that much, just a little warm. Please help

I reviewed your post and I understand that the computer is heating when you charge the battery when the computer is shut down.

 

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.       

 

The battery heats up a little bit when it is charging, and it is normal behavior. However, if the computer is overheating then I recommend you update the BIOS and the chipset driver from the below link and check whether the issue is resolved.
