Hello,

My HP Pavilion laptop left and right hinge broke and both corners are cracked and bulging. The laptop was not dropped or fell. When I open and close the laptop the hinge is shifting and then separating lower case from the upper case. The screw from the lower case are falling off and I am not able to close and open the laptop properly. The warranty is expired on this laptop. Please help.

This is a clear Hardware design issue. What should be the next steps? Please suggest?

Thank you in advance

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

I understand that your HP Notebook hinge assemblies are damaged, in order to fix this issue, your computer needs to be serviced. As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now.

I would request you to reach out to our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to check the available service options in order to diagnose the computer physically.  HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
