Laptop Hinges stuck I can't open or close my laptop

My laptop hinges are broken, I can't open or close my laptop because if I do the screen will be damaged. This is my second computer same bran HP that I am having this issue with. The first one I did not know what to do about it so I bought a new one, but this time HP should help me fix this issue as it is clear that HP laptops come with this issue. I was reading other comments from other users and they are facing the same issue. It is unfair to buy a product and then it does not last.
