Decided to use my laptop keyboard today (have previously used external keyboard) and alas it is not working 😞 Only thinking working is the keyboard mouse). We only use a soft micro-cloth to gently remove the dust. No chemicals etc.

Any idea what may have caused this and how to fix. (We have rebooted, run a system diagnosis etc)

Thanks

Open the Device Manager in the control panel and check whether the built-in laptop keyboard is disabled.

Thank you for your response.  Built in Keyboard is enabled.  (I am also the only operator and therefore would have intentionally had to have turned it off)  We are able to move the keyboard pointer and right/left click.  Only changes in recent time was using a dry micro-cloth.  (no liquids or cleaning solutions)

Is there anything else I can do to fix this..
