Laptop Motherboard Upgrade

Hi Guys,

I have recently been given this two year old laptop, in perfect condition and everything working correctly.

The problem I am finding, is it's so slow and I have ordered some new Crucial Ram 2x8 GB and a Crucial SSD.

My question is, is there a similar Motherboard, from one of the other HP 14 inch laptops, in this family or similar, but with a faster processor and integrated graphics, that I could swap out.

The laptop is running an AMD A4-9125 and Radeon R3 Graphics. I don't know if this model, had an option for a faster processor or not, but surely one of the other Motherboards would slot in..........I'm not concerned about the expense.

Thank you so much, that's exactly what I needed, although I'm not sure what would be a good choice, the Ryzen 3 or 5.

Would you have an opinion/recommendation on these boards with integrated graphics?

Ok I have just got off the phone from HP Indian call centre and they gave me a Sydney phone number, to track down an upgrade motherboard.

My current motherboard is Part No: L23390-001 with an A4-9125 processor.

I would like to swap out this motherboard with Part No: L46791-001 with a Ryzen3-3200U processor.

Would this motherboard, be the same shape and screw holes, as my current board and would the processor be soldered onto the motherboard, as my current one is?

I can get the board for $600, but I don't want to have to buy a Ryzen 3 processor as well.
