Microsoft Windows 11

It is not even a month since I bought my Hp laptop 14s 5138tu. It is heating up a lot even when I am merely using Ms Word or some mild browsing. please help. There should be no dust accumulation since I have been cleaning and keeping it very carefully.

Greetings @Phalangee

Welcome to the HP Forum.

Is your PC stable?

What component temps (CPU, GPU, VRMs, etc) are you seeing when doing everyday tasks?

The CPU Thermal Junction is 100 degrees Celsius. Your CPU should be nowhere near this temp when doing normal stuff.

I would contact HP Support for warranty service if: your PC is brand new, CPU temps are nearing the Thermal Junction, and the PC is unstable (running slow, over heating, shutting down, or freezing).

Regards
