Hello HP Community,
I recently purchased a power bank /for my laptop in anticipation of an overseas trip. Unfortunately no matter how I tried to get it to work the power bank refuses to charge my laptop. Testing on my Samsung shows that the power bank is functioning properly. I am curious as to whether or not there is something I am doing incorrectly or whether my specific laptop is not compatible with the power bank.
For reference the power bank is this: https://www.amazon.com.au/INIU-25000mAh-Portable-Charging-3-Output/dp/B08VDJP7WN/ref=sr_1_6?keywords...
If anybody has a recommendation for a laptop power bank that will work with my laptop please let me know.
Cheers.

Unfortunately, your laptop does not have a USB Type-C port that is capable of providing power to the laptop or charging the battery. That is also why it was not delivered with a power adapter that has a USB Type-C connection.
A laptop like my Spectre x360 13t-ap000 does have USB Type-C that capability.
It has 2x USB Type-C™ 3.1 Gen 2 (Thunderbolt™ 3, DP 1.2, PD 3.0, Data transfer, HP Sleep and Charge ports.
Those are the type of ports you would need
I am not aware of any mainstream HP laptop in the category yours is that has that capability.

The Service Manual posted on the support page for your laptop model says the USB-C ports are data only which means the port cannot accept an incoming charge. Have you been able to charge the laptop using any USB-C charger? Was it delivered from the factory with a barrel type adapter? There are power banks that have the capability to use a barrel type charging cable to the laptop.
