Hi @bishalsaha8909

The service manual does not indicate which processor the laptop has, the AMD Ryzen™ 5 4600H processor supports DDR4-3200.

Hi Paul, I think the guide link you shared does not include the specifications for my model 15-ec1023ax. It shows the 15-ec0xxx series which is not the case?

Hi @bishalsaha8909

it does not include it but it is a reference manual, anyway you can put 32 GB of Ram (2x16) and use a M.2 NVME of the size you want.

The exact specs for my model HP Pavilion Gaming 15-ec1023ax is

>AMD Ryzen™ 5 4600H

>8 GB DDR4-3200 MHz RAM

>256 GB PCIe® NVMe™ TLC M.2 SSD

>1 TB 7200 rpm SATA HDD

Please tell me how much RAM, HDD and SSD I can upgrade to? Also, is 24GB RAM acceptable if use 8GB and 16GB RAM together?

HP Recommended

Hi ,

Yes you can put 24 GB, but it is not so recommended, the best is always memory parity (8+8 or 16+16) , this activates the dual channel which increases the data transfer speed of the memory that is 64 bit to 128 bit this gives much more speed.
